I decided to start a RLYW Fantasy Baseball League through Yahoo open to any readers here. I figured there may be a few followers that would be interested. Hopefully this will be an annual thing. The league winner will even get a whole thread dedicated to announcing his awesomeness.
Here's how it works. Just go to Yahoo's fantasy sports page and click on the "sign up" button for Fantasy Baseball '10.
You'll want to click on the option to join a private league. The ID is 163829 and the password is CAIRO.
The league's max capacity is 20 and it is a head-to-head league, meaning you will face off against another opponent each week. I'm not sure how many people will want to join, so if you're interested make sure to join soon to avoid getting locked out. There will be a live draft which is set for Saturday, March 27th at 4:15pm EDT. If you can't make the draft, you can always pre-rank players and the autodraft will select according to your rankings.
Scores are determined by the total number of points you rack up in certain statistical categories each week. Although I'd love to use more advanced statistics for scoring, I'm limited to what Yahoo offers. If you have any questions about the league, please feel free to ask in the comments section.
